Autism Improv and Awesomeness

I started working with kids with an autism diagnosis when I volunteered in my kids school for 3 months. I was in the depths of a depressive episode and was not working.

I volunteered full days with the gym teacher. I worked closely with both the behavioural class as well as the autism class. I was blown away by how creative the autistic kids were. I also saw how they struggled to communicate with people.

How does Improv help this? When your child works in a safe space where they can express themselves in a very open and non-

judgemental space. Kids are naturally curious and playful. Come let your child explore, make new friend and strengthen their pretend play.
